Here are some of our most frequently asked questions.
Q. How much will the pest control service cost?
A. Depends upon the particular service some pests only require one visit for example a wasps nest. Whereas a rodent problem can take 2-3 visits depending the severity of the infestation and type of pest. Prices will be confirmed before any treatment is started.
Q. Do you provide free quotes?
A. Yes quotes for all our pest control services are free.
Q. How soon can we get there?
A. Usually the same or next day.
Q. Can you be discreet?
A. Yes, we will be discreet with any problems you may have, and we have an unmarked vehicle.
Q. Are my children and pets safe?
A. All pesticides are harmful if they are not used correctly. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of humans and domestic pets. Pesticide free non toxic options are available. Detailed risk assessments are carried out before any treatment is started.
Q. Do you work at evenings and weekends?
A. Yes, we can visit on an evening and at the weekend, by appointment.
Q. Is it possible to leave extra Chemicals/Bait so I can use them in the future?
A. No the chemicals we use are only supplied to trained pest control technicians and cannot be supplied to the general public.
Q. Do you offer a contract service for businesses?
A. Yes we can offer a pest control contract with regular visits. Also built in to the contract will be a call out agreement to deal with a specific problem.
Q. I have a problem that keeps re-occurring even after treatment by other pest controllers can you help?
A. We are fully trained in modern pest control techniques and keep up to date with new pest control methods. For example treatments for fleas will include an insect growth regulator. We always advise on the best way to pest proof your property, as well advising on the life cycle of your particular pest and explanations of how long treatment takes to be effective.
Q. Where are you based and what areas do you service?
A. We are based in Mansfield so are ideally based to cover the area, see the Locations Serviced page.
Q. What pests do you treat?
A. We can offer treatments for a wide range of pests including Fleas, Rats, Mice, Moles, Squirrels, Ants, Bedbugs, Flies, Wasps, Cockroaches in fact all crawling and flying Insects and Vermin.
Q. Are you able to remove Squirrels from my garden, as they are chasing the birds away from my feeders
A. This is a common problem in gardens, Squirrel numbers are on the increase this is an area we are happy to help with. By controlling Squirrels you will help the local song bird population to increase.
Q. Can you supply traps so that I can do the job myself.
A. Yes we can, you can either hire the traps or buy them. (Subject to availability of course). Call us for details. We are here to help and we won't bite!!
